Osseo Baseball is a 7th-12th grade sport. The program maintains 4 spring teams: Varsity, JV, Sophomore (B) and Freshman (9A). All spring teams play approximately a 20 game schedule. It also runs 3 summer teams: Legion, VFW and a Town Team.
Osseo baseball hosts 2 summer teams (VFW & Legion) as well as the summer fundamental program. The summer baseball season immediately follows the high school season and wraps up by the first weekend in August. (Please plan your family trips accordingly-we don't want to be short-handed during playoffs)
Legion: Juniors and Younger Players
VFW: Sophomore and Younger Players
TRYOUTS ON FRIDAY, MAY 18 FOR VFW & LEGION TEAMS!
Summer fundamentals is an opportunity for ALL players in OUR program to continue to work with their high school coaches and other players throughout the summer. These workouts will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00-2:00pm at Osseo. All players that are part of the Osseo program in the spring are encouraged to participate in these workouts throughout the summer-even those playing for their association team during the summer.
*There will be an additional fee for VFW or Legion teams once a player is placed on a summer team.
Please contact Coach Groebner with questions regarding any of these opportunities.
